Knowledge Management Society of Japan

Knowledge Management Society of Japan (KMSJ) was established in January 1998, with support by Japanese prominent think tanks and academic circles advancing in KM, reaching almost 700 individual members in domestic Japan.

Its scientific board integrates worldwide experts like Pr. I. Nonaka, Pr. H. Takeuchi, Tom Davenport, Leif Edvinsson…

KMSJ has expanded its activity field not only in domestic Japan but also in international cooperation with knowledge societies in other countries such as France, Brazil, Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan.

KMSJ has decided to expand its activity in worldwide collaboration with knowledge societies under the concept of the Olympic Games of “Chi” integrating knowledge, wisdom and mind, yet changing the host country for dialogue every year. The Knowledge Forum was held in Tokyo, Japan, in 2005 for the first time inviting people from eight countries and the second TKF2006 was in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
